La siesta was founded by the Hernández family in 1992 and is warmly situated in the foothills of Tennessee at 1608 NW Broad Street of Murfreesboro.
Since day one. La siesta has made it our mission to offer our clients an unforgettable atmosphere, outstanding custumer service, and only the finest ingredients in our time-tested home-made recipes passed down over three generations from Doña Juanita.
We began whit that mission, but unlike many other restaurants, we stayed dedicated to this mission even when times got hard: while others cut corners skimping on ingredients when the economy fell, we refused to sacrifice the mission of which we had begun: we dedicated all the more to our mission when times were hard. This dedication to such a mission over the years is what has transformed La Sierra into such a great success with a reputation to match it.
“Unbelievable food quality, outstanding customer service and an atmosphere that ties it together to create the perfect Mexican dining experience" is still our objetive, and any changes we make to our original blueprint is only for the sake of serving you better.
Speaking of changes for the better, we now have a new menu that offers even more variety of authentic Mexican dishes: and for the first time ever we now offer some traditional peruvian plates. Of course as always—we make it our business to keep our plate prices reasonable, for we see our clients as family too. And family takes care of family.
